When they told me about the moon bounce castle I was really excited for Devon. I remember playing on these as a kid and they provided hours of entertainment. You can jump super high, sometimes you can even feel like you’re flying. They also had some cool obstacle courses set up. There were plenty of tunnels to climb through and slides to ride down as well. After a quick tour I was positive the party was going to be a hit with Devon and his friends.

When the day of the party came, I could see the excitement on my son’s face. He looked ready to party. I gave him his presents, ate a good breakfast, and we headed off to the play center. All of the kids we invited showed up and they all had a splendid time. I could tell by the large amounts of laughter constantly emanating from the group. At the end of the day Devon was tired, but extremely content. I’m so glad I was able to provide him with a party that made him so happy.

I took this picture from inside the new grain silo before it was filled with machinery and raw material. I figured it would probably, no, definitely not be so clean and organized again and at least this way you can see the quick and simple job that general steel did in erecting it. Simple vertical beams and horizontal beams meet at strong points to create a tensile strength that can literally stand up to any weather….good things because you know what they say around here, “don’t like the weather, wait a few minutes.” It’s true too, the weather here can be blistering hot one day and literally freezing cold the next so I was too concerned to go forward with a wooden structure due to it’s vulnerable nature. A fellow farmer friend of mine suggested that I go with general steel because they had done all the work on every building on his farm. I went over to take a look and I was impressed with how well they were aging. I asked him just how long they had been there and he told me each of those building was over ten years old! You see, this peel wasn’t on the grass or somewhere that it could rot away unnoticed. It was right in the middle of steps leading into a busy building. I was hurrying to my next meeting across town and I was moving quickly down the steps. I did not notice that someone had callously tossed a peel in my path. When I hit it, I fell hard.
